I'm supposed to write about my favorite novel, sadly I don't have just one favorite. One of my favorite authors would have to be Stephen King. He writes mostly about supernatural things and is mostly a fictional writer. If I had to choose a novel to be my favorite, it would have to be one of his. I choose The Green Mile as my favorite novel. This novel was written in 1996 by Stephen King.

This is a heart wrenching novel that was turned into a heart wrenching movie. It's a magical realism novel. It's also a first person narrative of Paul Edgecombe, which also involves many falshbacks from old Paul back to young Paul. It shows the Green Mile, and its inhabitants. The Green Mile is so named due to the color of the floor, which is a shade of old, fading lime. It shows how the characters grow together, face problems and in the end face the guilt felt by executing an innocent man.

This novel is my favorite because it actually brings out emotion in me. It teaches us that twe shouldn't judge a book by its cover. That miracles can happen. It teaches me that a person's outer appearance doesn't necessarily represent who/what a person is on the inside.

Today I want to bore you to death with my interests and my dislikes.
I'm very interested in many books, especially those that depict Greek culture and tales, or those classic stories and tales. I also have a taste for music from the sixities all the way up to some artists today. I also have rekindled my love for early American cinema. I seriously would have forced James Dean's hand had he not died. I also like to do outdoorsy things with Jared. We're highly competitive and I like to win. I hate failing though. I also hate the sun, hot weather and sand.

After I graduate from school finally and secure a career as a cardiovascular thoracic surgeon, I plan to travel the world with Jared.

I was going to put them into alphabetical order, but the list is amended nearly every day, but here it is so far.

First off, I need to tell you that my boyfriend is an idiot. I love him dearly, and he's so very intelligent, but he's an idiot. He really likes to watch Family Guy. He also makes me watch it with him, and I agree to do so so he won't pout. In this series, two common artists that appear are The Trashmen and Conway Twitty. Many episodes of this series are centered around the song Surfin' Bird. My boyfriend has dubbed this "our song" because neither of us can resist laughing at or singing this song whenever we hear it. It's on his iTunes account, so naturally I hear it alot. Now, Conway Twittys' Hello Darlin' is also played often in Family Guy when the characters go off screen during the show, but it's not yet on commercial. Seeing as we both like Twitty, we sing this song often too. It's a weird couple thing, and I find it humorous. Both of these songs just remind me of how he's become my bestfriend, and how I'd go absolutely nuts without him...and of course, with him.

I like it as much as anyone could like school. It's far better than Knott Central. I plan to learn a lot and enjoy the small number of students.
